What is an MMI?
A multiple mini interview. Instead of one long panel, you move between short stations, each with its own examiner and its own task: an ethical situation, a role play, a question about you, or a piece of policy to reason through. Every station is scored on its own, so one shaky station does not sink the day. Most medicine interviews in Australia run this way.
Is it just an online portal?
No. The portal is where you practise between classes, but you are taught by people: a live class each week with your cohort, answers marked by a tutor with a video reply, mock interviews with real examiners online or in person in Perth, one to one coaching on Complete and the November masterclass at Murdoch University.
Do I need an interview invitation before I start?
No, and most students start before they hear. Invitations land through November and December, which leaves very little time to learn to answer well. The students who do best have already practised for weeks by then.
