Quick answers

Is it really free? What's the catch?

It is free. The mock, the marking, the debrief, the handout and the emailed report. No card, no obligation. Some families ask about Term 4 afterwards, and that is why we run it.

When do we get the results?

On the day. The paper is marked during the break and handed back in the debrief. The full written report with benchmarks follows by email, and we go through everything at the results webinar.

Which years can sit it?

Year 4, 5 and 7. Years 4 and 5 sit the same paper (the Year 7 GATE entry test); Year 7 sits its own paper for Year 9 entry. Both cover all four GATE sections.

Does my child need to prepare?

No. The point is to see where they sit now. The report shows what to work on.

What should they bring?

Two pencils, an eraser, a water bottle and a snack for the break. No calculators, phones or smart watches. We supply the paper.

Can we take the paper home?

Yes, absolutely. We are proud of our custom-made materials and would love to show students and parents, and help them learn from it.

Where exactly is the centre?

Your confirmation email carries the street address and a map link for Harrisdale (3/723 Ranford Road), Willetton (Unit 3b/113 High Road) or Perth Modern (90 Roberts Road, Subiaco). Doors open 9:45am.
